“Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear today joined the Ark Encounter LLC to announce the planned construction of a full-scale Noah’s Ark tourist attraction in northern Kentucky. Partnering with the Ark Encounter is Answers in Genesis, which is most widely known for its high-tech and popular Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky.
‘Noah’s Ark continues to capture the imagination of the general public, and this interest spans all social, religious and economic segments. The Ark and the flood is one of the few historical events which are well known in the worldwide global circle.’”
The Media Research Center, a watchdog group that analyzes the media for liberal bias, has started a new campaign pushing mainstream media outlets to tell the truth. To this end, MRC has hired four billboard trucks bearing the message ‘Stop the liberal bias, tell the truth!’ to circle the Manhattan headquarters of ABC, CBS, NBC and the New York Times.
The trucks began circling...and planned to continue their action eight hours a day every weekday for four weeks...
L. Brent Bozell, president of MRC, stated, ‘[The media] needs to tell the truth about the efforts to turn our country into a European-style Socialist state.’”
“Castro Denounces Anti-Semitism—Fidel Castro told an American journalist...he despises anti—Semitism and said Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should admit that the Holocaust of World War II took place. ...‘I don’t think anyone has been slandered more than the Jews. He said the Jewish people ‘were expelled from their land, persecuted and mistreated all over the world, as the ones who killed God...The Jews have lived an existence that is much harder than ours. There is nothing that compares to the Holocaust,’ Castro said.”
